The challenge

Our clients recently moved to Switzerland and had obtained consent to let on their previous UK home. Their existing mortgage was due to expire and due to the change in residency, they required an expat buy to let remortgage. Most lenders will not consider this.

The solution

We were able to provide a solution within the expat buy let sector with a lender who was comfortable with the applicants previously residing in the property and also their recent change of employment.
